18th Connecticut Infantry fought rear guard action in Milroy’s retreat, 2nd Battle of Winchester. Most of the regiment was captured June 15, 1863
Civil War data base indicates Wilson was captured 6/15/63 and paroled 9/15/63, "estimated".
