Research File 26:         Cavalry picture

Inscription: Cavalryman being shot from horse.

Presumed to have been written by one of the numerous 1863 cavalry prisoners.  It is very possible (but not proven) that this is depiction of Lt Kellogg being thrown by his horse.  Lt Kellogg was definitely a story teller and energetic talker, as attested by his newspaper obituary.  And he was thrown from a horse.  There is no name beside this drawing so no way to prove it definitely, but circumstantial evidence that this is Kellogg is likely.

Location: From NE corner go south 152 inches, up 50 inches (Picture good)
