Location: This is a copper ID disc found by Harry Ridgeway near the Heater House, Battle of Cedar Creek (Picture Good)

The 1st US Cavalry served actively in the 1864 campaign including Cedar Creek 10/19/64. This soldier deserted in Kansas in 1866. We have been in contact with his family

Military Record: Yes, only record shows the Deserters log showing desertion in Kansas in 1866

Pension Record: None found (deserter will not be eligible)
